Newspoll has turned in a result for its three-weekly federal poll which, if nothing else, shows it’s not letting the May election result prevent it from publishing optimistic-looking numbers for Labor. As related in The Australian ($), the latest poll has the major parties tied on two-party preferred, after four successive results of 51-49 in favour of the Coalition.
The Coalition is down two on the primary vote to 40%, with Labor up two to 35%, the Greens down one to 12% and One Nation up one to 7%. Anthony Albanese enjoys some encouraging movement on personal ratings, with approval up five to 42% and disapproval down seven to 37%. However, Scott Morrison’s ratings are little changed, with approval down one to 46% and disapproval down two to 43%, and his lead as preferred prime minister narrows only marginally, from 47-32 to 46-32.
The poll was conducted Thursday to Sunday from a sample of 1682.

Probably not a good idea to post your address on the internet.
Greensborough Growler:
[‘But, PB is not a purity site and aggressive commentary has always been the way it works.’]
With you setting an unsetting trend, closely followed by the pompous BB – both of you being old hats in extremis.
They’re not my answers….not that i care a whole lot…
Let 100 Adanis bloom….anything to shake ourselves free of the Greens.
Re 7.30’s “Quiet Australians” item tonight… one of them said Shorten lost her with his “pie-in-the-sky” electric car policy, in the first week of the election campaign.
A hopeless case.
“Where the bloody hell are you Scott?”

They’re probably the same people.
Joanne Murphy
The sliver lining is that he was only talking about Liberal Party members in his branch but the problem with that is they are the ones in the ear of this government’s politicians and from how he talks the branch seems to have something like 30 members made up mostly by retirees and small business types.

This tells me again that I posted the right answers for you.
Why are you obsessed with me Mavis? You cite my name at the slightest excuse. I haven’t addressed you or said anything about you since the last time you made an idiot of yourself, about a month ago.
Seek help. It’s unhealthy.
The Twitter account of Bill Shortens media unit is still strangely operating as usual. They have also added a very odd description to their activities:

Enjoy your Scotch in that caravan of non entity.
I could be mistaken but I understand Adani now propose a mine that will allegedly deliver 2.6 million tonnes pa., down from 60 million and then 26 million tonnes pa. This compares with QLD total thermal coal output of around 83 million tonnes pa.
So much for a ‘carbon bomb’. It’s a crater.
They cannot get finance for the project. They cannot insure it. They cannot pay any royalties. They cannot deliver a single tonne for the market price now offered for low calorie/ high sulfur Galilee grade.
It is a dud. The Greens have made a song and dance over a hoax project. Canavan too has thrown everything he has at it.
Excellent news for everyone except the Greens, who will lose a campaign opportunity.

I didn’t look at the photos so I didn’t notice. Anyways, that’s cool. Any idea where you’re moving to?
Cheers to that, Mavis 🙂
Regarding the Adani poster.
Isn’t that a rehash of, or the same as one produced during the Batman by-election?
New thread.
