The latest Morgan poll, combining responses from face-to-face surveys of 1862 respondents from the last two weekends, has Labor’s two-party lead unchanged at 54-46, although their primary vote is down two points to 41 per cent. The Coalition is down half a point to 40 per cent, with the Greens up 1.5 per cent to 12 per cent. The margin of sampling error on the sample is about 2.3 per cent, but this is a lot less meaningful than Morgan face-to-face polls’ obvious house bias to Labor.
Frank,
[Indeed and that goes to his colleagues like Mike Williams where several here and on Twitter have challenged him, and are mocked/Talked over and eventually cut off.
In fact one Twitterer was told by Mike’s producer early this morning “promise you won’t make Mike look stupid”.]
The talkback operators cater to a narrow demographic band of wrinkly old senile farts. And all the operators are chasing the same demographic! Madness! Where’s the logic in that? If they had any gumption they’d be going after the vast fields of audience currently going uncultivated, such as the 30s-45s, progressives, inner city lefties etc. I bet there’s at least as many of them as there are prune-faced old angry white guys.
Cuppa,
Good thoughts. The inquiry will not happen: Julia is the closest thing to shove it up them but it will not happen, she is a pollie , pre-programmed, as all, for survival.
I am willing to participate in any progressive march, provided it is dereft of rent-a-crowds and the unrealistic nirvana pursuivants.

I listened to “Mad Mike” for a while last night and Friday night and he was fairly docile. Do you think the efforts of Gus, Henry and others may have made him tone it down a bit?
]
He got fired up after 3am EDT with one woman going on about Refugees etc, but it does seem our efforts, including Poss has worked somewhat.

Many get their so-called facts from these media outlets because no-one challenges them to be truthfull.
It is not just about similar points of view & that’s why folks listen. Some just listen to talkback as opposed to music whilst they are doing other things.
It creates talking points made on false info & it spreads. Bit like the old retail story of one bad customer experience translates to ten people being told which ripples out reaching many.
