“No decisions tonight”

The headline says “CNN projects Obama clinches nomination”, but during what in many ways has sounded like a concession speech, Clinton has declared: “I will be making no decisions tonight”.

  1. GG,
as i said, you are only insulting your own intelligence and the concept of logic.
Bring it on….hmmmm where have i heard that before?
Let me guess what you’ll say next…”no logic…dead or alive.”
    Perhaps…”avoiding the issue…Mission Accomplished.”

  2. GG

Yes I see our little butterfly Optimist (brother of blindoptimist) is running his little agenda , not courageous enough to say it

    HARRYH ,
you outed yourself HarryH as the FL, do not now be ashamed of it , whereas Pancho was a little uneasy. Just stand up for what you believe

waiting for Optimist to have the same courage to out himself , but its not looking promising seeeing he cann’t even read my/GG answer in #1882

    JEN
    is avoiding my question earlier
and under Obama when ALL US troops be out of Iraq ??
(surely the question is not too hard)

  3. Jen, I suspect that growler, ron & fins are remnant hansonites. They lost confidence in John Howard, but they are still bound in ignorance and frustration. You’re not likely to get a straight answer out of em and they take pleasure in spiting you.

  4. the 2 FL looney ideals brothers together
now each if you can aswer 1/2 of the following question each

and under Obama when ALL US troops be out of Iraq ??

  5. Optimist,

    I have answered your questions.

What is your point. Have you got something insightful to say that will educate your fellow PBers?

Do you have a modicom of intelligence that means that you can contribute to this debate/discussion. Or, are you just another “nancy” sitting in the shadows always criticising but never brave enough to put their view? Are you scared of alternative views?

Where do do you stand on any issue?

    Stalk me at your peril.

  6. Ron, you’ll have to ask him yourself. I don’t know and if I did I wouldn’t bother telling you: you’d only deny it anyway.

  7. well maybe he can ask you , but one of you can surely answer the question

under Obama when ALL US troops be out of Iraq ??

everytime you guys are faced with giving an opinion as I’ve asked , you run for a one liner red herrings of bream

  8. Blindoptimist,
it’s all really just a bit of fun. I don’t rate these guys as knowing much of anything – it’s a bit like those quiet moments sitting in the sun watching ants run about. Of course the ants are interesting in that they are organised and have a defined purpose.

  9. Blindoptimist and Optimist

‘ I don’t rate these guys as knowing much of anything’

do you know anything of anything re Obama’s FA policy at all ? Making you both look like you know nothing about FA

under Obama when ALL US troops be out of Iraq ??

    (I’m uploading…thanks , 9/10)

  10. Ron,

Blind Optimist and Optimist are also Elite Butterfly and others when they allow that personality out for a walk or a flutter.

The ones on parade at the moment are dark individuals who believe it is fun to harass other PBers.

They are basically insane but try to hide behind their medication here.

  11. 1896 EC

Who knows if justice will ever come to the WHIG and PNAC’s other assorted thugs for the mass crimes they committed?
The realist says probably not…the optimist says maybe.

It is common knowledge what they did now, which is probably as much satisfaction as we will get. If they ever get sentenced justly, they would rot forever.

    But it won’t happen.

  12. GG ,

will call it a night , neither of these two daisys can answer a simple FA question on their Obama man’s policy , and these butterflys identical twins must talk to each other in their sleep surely

I don’t know whats more worrying , the fact for 4 months now (apart from 1 guy) the other 30 or so have never been able to put up any PRO Obama issues to warrant his candiditure past the broad ‘generational’ undefined one , or

the possibility they do noteven realise Obama on almost all domestic policys is clearly to the ‘right’ of Hillary & Edwards and they don’t know it , and in some cases has ‘soft’ Republican policys

  13. I’ve bee busy doing various things tonight. I had time to post a brief pedantic slap down of ESJ and that appears to have provoked a minor swirl of Red baiting from GG and his Tory mate. Otherwise not much else appears to have happened. However I feel compelled to correct one persistent theme in GG’s little spiteful threnody. He feels compelled throw Mugabe in my face as an example of wha “Marxism” leads to.
I find this particularly offensive for more than the usual reasons. I have met, socialised with, broken bread with, people whom I am happy to call “comrade” (in a way that ESJ will never appreciate) who have been part of the struggle against Mugabe, who have been imprisoned and assaulted by his goons, who have led strikes and protests against his regime. It is a regime that while describing itself as “Marxist” never challenged the economic power of the old white Zimbabwe and only expropriated the white farms (giving them not to the workers or the original indigenous inhabitants but to croneys of Mugabe). It did so as a left cover to hide the unpopularity of the neoliberal attacks on Zimbabwe’s poor which created the original crisis and which were carried out at the behest of the same bunch of world bodies (the IMF and World Bank in particular). These bodies are now joining the chorus of condemnation of Mugabe – whose criminality only became a concern when he started expropriating white farmers rather than simply attacking the poor blacks (like he was supposed to do).
So, GG, yes he calls himself a Marxist, but (guess what!) he’s only a naught dictator!

  14. RB,

And they all moved away from the explicit implementation of their evil philosophy.

All those millions dead from Stalin, Mao and others, just a statistcal inexactitude.

Sent him a memo to expel him have you Robert. Conscious salved.

    Cretin.

  15. The way the world works Harry, you’re probably right.
However, the tide has turned in America and as the neocon/WHIG/PNAC power wanes in Washinton, enough elected representatives might discover the backbone to act boldly for Justice as the prospect of the nation surging from Red to Blue takes hold in in their ever so brave hearts.

  16. GG, my conscience was “salved” when people like me led struggles against them – against Stalin and Mao and “the others” – while mealy mouthed moralistic Mensheviks like you, abandoned the moral high ground and signed up for their positions in the bureaucracy, put the Lenin badge in their lapel and praised “Comrade Stalin”. Do you call yourself a “democrat” GG? Do you therefore feel constrained to justify everything the German Democratic Republic did?

  17. ROFLOL

    Gruffy cites Bernanke! LOL

That’s the same Bernanke who said last August that the subprime meltdown was contained and would have no effect on the US economy!

You bloody great galah Gruffy, he’s PAID to make those noises, it doesn’t mean they actually refer to reality!

What a complete clown you are.

  18. EC

    The tide is indeed turning.

The intelligent and the educated know they have been horribly lied to. They are turning against the Warmongers, the Warmongers of both Parties. They are not confined to just the Repug Party.
That is why it was so heartening to see Hillary and her crew defeated.

There is a long way to go still, but the skies are brighter than the dark days of 03.

How good it would be to see them all shamed. From Bush,Cheney and Rove to Perle, Abrams, Ledeen and the rest.

  19. RB,

I’m clearly not as old or outdated as you. However, I can almost hear the people sing.

The Comms regularly deny the bona fides and especially the outcomes of those regimes supposedly implementing your evil philosphy. Also, if I recall the Nazis had Socialist in their moniker somewhere.

Then you turn up on blogs like this to seduce people in to thinking your version of the truth is palatable. We all know the record is horrendous.

  20. For the education of the somewhat mentally impaired, who have not yet realised what’s going on in the US economy, a quick view of the future:

In his latest Insight Newsletter long-time economist and Forbes columnist Gary Shilling reminds us the U.S. recession is unfolding in four phases: “Two Underway, Two Just Starting.” First two: The housing disaster and the Wall Street meltdown will continue at least through 2010. “Phase 3, a massive consumer retrenchment, the worst since the 1930s” is just kicking in. “By year’s end, Phase 4 should start as falling U.S. consumer spending cuts the imports that fuel foreign growth.”

…but if Ben Bernanke says it’s all OK, well, like he’d actually tell it like it is?

  21. And in the non-political-obsessed world, the Kucinich impeach the President motion is actually about a 0.5 on the richter scale. Hard to find anywhere near the front of Google News or any major media website. Not surprising, because it seems doomed to be stillborn. The fact that Kucinich is sticking up his hand to do it over Pelosi’s objection surely confirms that any minor chance he may have had to be the running mate, is gone.

  22. 1939
    SimonH

It looked more like an attention getting exercise to me. Hard to see what use it is if the party won’t touch it. Maybe he’s trying to round up the leftwing of the party who might be getting toey and feeling like no one is singing their tune?

Or maybe he’s just trying to get on Letterman, and thought he’d start with a longer list and he can whittle it down later?

  23. The fact that Kucinich is sticking up his hand to do it over Pelosi’s objection surely confirms that any minor chance he may have had to be the running mate, is gone.

    Strange comment.

Kucinich had about as much chance of being Obama’s running mate as Donald Rumsfeld.

  25. I realise it probably won’t happen, but the idea of impeaching that ba$tard Bush and the even more hideous Cheney is so beautifully ironic after the ridiculous impeachment of Bill Clinton for having a bit of cigar appreciation in his office. These misbegotten criminals have caused so much human suffering it is hard to comprehend that they can walk away scot free.

  26. Oh Bull Butter! – Re: Recent Morgan Poll.

New Yorkers aren’t to happy with Clinton out of the race as far as i can tell over here, but hey she lost and Obama won. It just goes to show you (sadly) that if you can produce glitz and glamour and sound good people dont give a rats whether you’re up for the job, but if America elected Obama they’d be having the same problems im hearing back home that we’re having with Rudd totally out of his depth and using symbolism more than ever ‘NPT’ to overcome his shortfalls.

I know the people chose Rudd as they’ve so far chosen Obama but for gods sake experience has to count for something!

  27. 1944
    Glen

And my experience tells me that your record of telling us what’s what is, to use your expression, mostly ‘bull butter’.

  28. 1942
    Catrina

He’s probably just posting them to the door like Martin Luther to establish the beginning of the Democrat’s reformation!

They’ll probably end up getting thrown around during the campaign a little bit, but I don’t see the Dem’s taking them on seriously.

    More’s the pity.

  29. KR at 1946

Given that the ultimate impact of impeachment is only being thrown out of office, and that exiting the office is what – only seven months away – and given that the process of mounting an impeachment process will probably take more than seven months – well – it’s not a realistic proposition. But what is realistic is getting those talking points out into the media.

  30. Good morning Kirribilli and Catrina!
It’s a shame this thread is being destroyed by the incoherent rants of a few individuals – ESJ, Ron and GG! Like a trio of 3 year olds, they continue to rant and rave, because they lost their Hillary toy LOL

  31. Catrina – thanks for that post listing the articles of impeachment. I’m not fussed if it doesn’t get the votes, the issues need exposure – the American people deserve to be told exactly how corrupt and anti-democratic the Bush/Cheney regime have been.
