Newspoll: 53-47 to Labor

Another stable Newspoll, as both major parties gain a point on the primary vote at the expense of the various “others”.

Another fortnight (or so), another 53-47 to Labor result from Newspoll. This time out the primary votes are Coalition 36% (up one), Labor 37% (up one), Greens 9% (down one) and One Nation 9% (down two). Malcolm Turnbull’s personal ratings are slightly improved, with approval up two to 34% and disapproval down two to 54%, and his lead as preferred prime minister out from 41-33 to 43-32, while Bill Shorten is unchanged at 33% approval and 53% disapproval.

UPDATE: Paywalled Australian report here. Kevin Bonham: “Same 2PP five #Newspolls in a row, a new all-time record. #auspol”.

I need a little help with Tampermonkey and CCCP.
I’ve installed it on my work computer and can see comment time stamps, but not comment numbers and I can’t see the quote comment button.
Could someone more knowledgeable point out where I’ve gone wrong?

The whole thing is in the realms of magic.

There is no sense that I can make of it. It seems to be a combination of the particular computer you use and the browser.

CCCP works perfectly on my Mac laptop running Chrome. I cannot even log in to PB using my desktop Mac in Chrome, let alone install CCCP.

On my desktop, in order to log in to PB, I have to use Opera, which has a very clean interface, but there is no CCCP script made for Opera, as far as I can tell.

    Good luck!

  2. Posters featuring what Truffles said about the NBN should go up to remind people of who is to blame for Fraudband.

“Where is any of the evidence that would justify this investment,” Mr Turnbull told ABC Radio on Tuesday evening.

  3. Still can’t log in on the desktop using Chrome despite clearing browsing history, cache and cookies.

Can log in using Opera. No comment numbers, no pages. Do have time stamp. Have upvote and downvote.

Setting the sort to ‘newest’ gives me Lizzie’s post from 12:38 am at the top of the screen:

    “lizzie
    Testing

    0 Today 12:38 am”

Next quote is from Ides of March:

    “Ides of March
    Testing on computer.

    0 Tuesday, July 25, 2017 5:33 pm”

Some serious number of comments missing there.

Setting it to oldest means I can’t get to the latest except by tedious ‘load more comments’ which only gives a few at a time.

I have no idea if I will be able to see this comment. ‘I shot an arrow into the air….’

  4. Hmmm, so my latest comment now appears above lizzie’s of 12:38 am, nothing in between, set to ‘newest’.

This is not working well atm.

I can talk to myself much more easily by addressing the nearest tree.
