Newspoll: 55-45 to Labor in Victoria

Newspoll’s Victorian state voting intention poll for November-December repeats the surprise September-October result on two-party preferred, although Labor’s primary vote is down in the face of a strong result for the Greens.

GhostWhoVotes reports Newspoll’s November-December poll of state voting intention in Victoria has Labor maintaining its commanding 55-45 lead from September-October, from primary votes of 36% for the Coalition (down one), 38% for Labor (down three) and 16% for the Greens (up three, the best piece of polling news for the party in some time). Ted Baillieu has nonetheless recorded a slight improvement in his personal ratings, his approval up two to 33% and disapproval down five to 48%, as has Daniel Andrews, who is respectively up three to 32% and down two to 34%. Preferred premier is exactly unchanged at 39-30 in favour of Baillieu.
