Crikey group subscriptions offer

As a token of its long-held esteem, Crikey is offering Poll Bludger readers an offer they shouldn’t refuse. Basically we are shouting out to the Bludgertariat for expressions of interest in discounted group subscriptions, such as Club Troppo has been doing for some time on an annual basis – this year roping in 110 participants. I just know we can better that at Poll Bludger, owing to our readership’s:

• Appreciation of quality reporting and analysis on politics, the media, business, international affairs, culture and sport, such as Crikey’s daily subscriber-only email lays on with a trowel;

• Determination to support media outlets independent of the major news organisations, which PB commenters can be heard expressing misgivings about from time to time;

• Community-spirited desire to show some love for the good people who keep the ball rolling at PB, making possible the many hours of enjoyment it provides.

The deal works like this. If you’re interested in taking part, fire off an email to Jade Butler at jbutler@crikey.com.au and tell her PB sent you. The cost per subscription will depend on how many takers we get, with the scale running as follows:

Over 10 subscribers: $85

Over 20 subscribers: $75

Over 50 subscribers: $65

This compares with a normal rate of $145, which itself works out to a value-tastic 58 cents per email, or thereabouts. If we can clear 50 takers, that will come down to 26 cents. You would be mad – literally insane – not to take up this marvellous offer.
