Galaxy: McKew leads Howard 47-46 in Bennelong

Lateline reveals that the Sunday Telegraph will carry a Galaxy poll from Bennelong showing Maxine McKew leading John Howard 47 per cent to 46 per cent on the primary vote. More details as they come to hand. The table below shows the results of all published polls from Bennelong this year, with the sample sizes following the dates in brackets.

UPDATE: The ABC reports a two-candidate split of 52-48.

  1. When foreshadowing this on Friday night, the ABC side the sample size was 800. The really notable thing has been the stability in the Labor primary and 2PP shown by Galaxy. This must have even the most optimistic Libs biting their lips with doubt.
