  1. The C7 worm has lost all credibility in regard to same sex marriage. Every poll on the issue has shown overwhelming support for it…C7s worm is bogus…

  2. Great closing statement by Rudd. And this is crucial because I’m guessing far more viewers have tuned in for the latter portion than at the beginning – which was a bit early for prime time viewing.

  3. Triple A ratings
Low debt level based on international comparison

and all that other stuff I keep raising that Liberals either avoid reading, won’t read, don’t want to read or just don’t understand

  4. Great to see Rudd closing on same sex marriage. It makes he and Labor look more humane, and interested in more than just economics, (although Rudd was certainly better on that too).

  5. face it maranda Abbott really is a dud. totally negative and nothing to offer. i can see why he does not want to debate. he has nothing to offer Australia after 4 yrs prep pretty poor

  6. “@MagdaSzubanski: I really wish Abbott would stop trotting out his gay sister every time he is asked a direct question re #MarriageEquality #leadersdebate”

  7. #believrudd 61%

    #believeabbott 39%

Abbott = Nothing wrong with Australia right now………

    stop the boats
cut the tax yadda yadda yadda

  8. alias:

Marriage equality isn’t a vote winner or loser IMO. It just makes sense for a party of govt to be opposed to discrimination.

  9. @senatormilne: Lets acknowledge Julia Gillard and what she did with the Greens to deliver disability care #ausvotes #debate

  10. Abbott closing full of cliches and contradictions – scrap the taxes, get the budget in surplus?? “I believe in you”? For what? Des he believe we are stupid enough to vote for him?

  11. Abbott : strange, awkward poises, unusual emphases in the way he delivered sentences – especially the part about “I believe” .. like he was straining to remember what to say.

  12. Thumbs down for Abbott on 9

I guess it depends on who cooked their audience more: 7 or 9.

Given 7 hired Jeff Kennett as their commentator , I know my bet
