Labor Stirling ad

To keep things ticking over until Newspoll, I hereby present an ad for Labor’s Stirling candidate Peter Tinley which just went to air during the Channel Nine news in Perth.

UPDATE: In the interests of political balance, please also enjoy this romantic sunset stroll along Scarborough Beach with Liberal member Michael Keenan.

  1. Newspoll apparently doesn’t offer Greens as a specific choice in the question “who would you vote for? It’s Libs/Nats or Coalition, Labor or other. This means that they tend to under-estimate Green support, and this is likely to distort the 2PP estimates. Peter Brent says that they do ask respondents for preference allocation, if they propose a non-major party. They only do this during election campaigns; at other times they rely on applying the aggregate percentage distribution from the preceding election.

  2. What happened to the good old days here when we had some balanced analysis from someone other than PB himself?

All I seem to see here now is Lib-bashing. Oh Antony Green, please offer your thoughts-always balanced, although occassionally off target(But at least you;re more on the money than Mackerras!)

  3. Michael Keenan might look warm and fuzzy on the beach but that did not stop him voting for WorkChoices 23 times.

His advertising all states that he stands for “Local Issues and Local Action” well he did not think about the “locals” when he cast his vote.

I have been in his presence when he has stated the “his best day in Parliament was when the new unfair dismissals went through”

Did he think of the locals when that happened?

  4. I am taken by Peter Tinley’s hard working ethic. His conviction to his community and country cannot be challenged.
Michael Keenan seems more interested in his social life and sitting by the ocean than working for his community on Federal issues.

These YOU TUBE pieces tell a lot about what Peter and Michael are really all about.
I know who I will be voting for.
